Steel or wood

Different jobs. A wooden shed suits storage you walk into and want finished inside. Steel suits span and vehicles: carports, garages, workshops, and agricultural buildings where you want clear space and a structure that does not need much from you afterward.

Steel also goes up faster and costs less per square foot once you get past a certain size. Below that, wood usually wins.

What you choose

Size. Roof style and pitch. Colors for roof, walls, and trim. Roll-up garage doors, walk doors, and windows, and where each of those sits. Open sides, partially enclosed, or fully enclosed. Placement and orientation on your property.

That last one matters more than people expect. Which way the doors face determines whether you are shovelling out the opening every February.

What people build

Carports for boats, campers, and equipment that would otherwise sit out. Garages and workshops. Agricultural buildings for hay, implements, and livestock shelter. Covered storage for a business yard.

The ordering process

Come look at the demos first. Seeing a 12 foot leg next to an 8 foot one settles questions a drawing will not. Then we specify it together, and we walk you through the whole order rather than handing you a form.

One customer mentioned owner Allan Zimney stayed after closing to talk through the steel buildings with him. That is fairly normal here, and anyone who has dealt with his Diamond Collision Center auto body shop down the road will recognise it.
