Everything we sell, we service, and we take in plenty of machines we did not sell too. Mowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, trimmers, and most other small engine equipment.

Fuel is the usual culprit

Most of what arrives here as "it will not start" is a fuel problem, and most of that traces to a machine that sat over winter with fuel in it. Modern fuel does not keep. It separates, absorbs water, and leaves varnish through the carburetor that no amount of cranking clears.

Cleaning or rebuilding the carburetor fixes it. Draining or stabilising the fuel before storage avoids it entirely, which is the free advice we give anybody who asks.

Seasonal timing matters

Bring your mower in March, not the second week of June when the grass is already ahead of you. Same for snow blowers in October rather than the morning after the first real storm.

We keep turnaround quick, but everyone in Burnett County has the same idea in the same week, and the only way around that is being early.

What we take on

Tune-ups and seasonal service. Carburetor cleaning and rebuilds. Belts, cables, and pulleys. Blades and spindles. Starters and ignition. Full engine rebuilds where the machine justifies it.

When it is not worth fixing

We will tell you. A cheap box-store mower needing a carburetor, a blade, and a deck is frequently past the point where repair makes sense, and pretending otherwise wastes your money.

Sharpening is separate and fast

Blades and chains go through as a quick job rather than a shop ticket. Ask when you drop off.
